The Screen Where I Live
Just got TomTom Navigator for my Treo 650. It's the next step in my quest to understand GPS. TomTom gives you street accurate positioning and driving/walking/biking directions, with real voice cueing. Again, kind of spooky, but amazing tech. At the right you can see me at Napier and Queen Streets in Hamilton, Ontario and, on my Treo screen. I'm using this on my bike with my hacked Treo holder made from a Billy Bee Honey bottle.
That photo, btw, is on Flickr and now Flickr has geolocation ability. So, you can click on the image in Flickr and see on a map of Hamilton where it was taken. If this stuff gets any cooler my head will explode. What a nerd boy.
